Ok so I'm at home because we have a day off because the Lower 6th students have a day to themselves to get a feel of the college. So I did my homework I was planning to do bright and early to get it out of the way. Dad comes into the room, I noticed him but he didnt notice me. He had this laser thing but I wasnt going to ask because I'm not really that keen on talking to him. So he came in, used his laser thing then went out. I finished, saved and had dinner. Noticed the the Pixar film, Cars was on so decided to watch that. Watched it and my mum asks about babysitting and stuff and I'm like yeah go ahead! Come downstairs with plans from babysitter parent and mums trying to help dad with a computer issue.

Now this was bad. You would never go to mum for help on the computer. It would be like going to a fish to ask how to walk the dog, it just wouldn't happen. Many teenagers get it, their parents or grandparents not knowing about technology these days, which is fine because I totally understand. Its harder for them to keep up if their things they remember have long gone! But anyway back to the story . . .

My dad had lost his work on the computer, something about him measuring all the floors and walls in the house for some reason. I was trying to fill my mum out on the babysitting stuff and she was like go away for a sec we're busy. So I just stayed inside as my dad is stressing over the computer, and my mum trying to help! He lost his saved work, end of story. Come on, there must be million of teenagers who have lost their homework they saved last night or have made something on Photoshop and you accidentily press Don't Save instead of Save and only after a few seconds do you realise what you have done. It happens all the time. You just have to live with it and start again. If he's been working on all day which has been form 9.00 til 2.00 - 5 hours then thats not so bad as losing your entire Product Design coursework on the computer and having to retype it all word for word for the next day because you spent the weekend with your friends and family. Not that that has happened to me, I only lost a few pages! But still you have to Forgive and forget even though that motto has nothing to do with what I've been talking about . . . Hmmm how about this:

SAVE EVERY HOUR!!!

Also, use copy and paste... I just had a little thought that this might not save because of my little rant, but I copied all the text and placed it in Notepad! Just in Case!!!!
